Privacy Policy

Frontier Briefing · Last updated 17 June 2026

This policy describes what data the Frontier Briefing mobile app and associated Telegram channels (together, the “Service”) collect, why, and what we do with it. The Service is operated by Ken Hennessy (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you can contact us at hennessyken1@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

Aside from Google AdMob on the free tier (described above), we do not use separate third-party analytics SDKs or social-media plugins inside the app. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), and you can remove ads entirely by subscribing to the paid tier. Google’s use of advertising data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

2. How we use the data

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Apart from the advertising identifier shared with Google AdMob on the free tier (described above), we do not share data with advertising networks. Research paper summaries are generated by a third-party language-model API; only the public abstract of each research paper is sent to that API, never any user data.

4. Where data is stored

Our servers are located in Germany. Subscription data held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may be stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where those companies operate. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of this limited data outside your home country.

5. Retention

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or California you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hennessyken1@gmail.com with a description of your request and the device or Telegram ID you would like the request applied to. We respond within 30 days.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your device’s App Store or Google Play settings. Cancelling stops auto-renewal but does not delete data we are required to retain by law.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

API traffic is encrypted in transit via TLS 1.2+. Subscription data is held by RevenueCat and Apple/Google in their own secure systems. We do not store passwords or payment details on our own servers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
